Overview

Restrictions on working hours for medical residents are motivated by concerns about patient safety and the well-being of residents. The Duke Center for Health Policy and Inequalities Research has developed a draft working paper assessing the costs and benefits of restrictions on resident duty hours (P8-Resident Duty Hours Restrictions).
