Overview
Medical records regulation affects the offices of physicians, dentists and other health professionals in addition to health facilities. The Duke Center for Health Policy has developed a draft working paper assessing the costs and benefits of medical records regulation and privacy, including HIPAA privacy rules and state privacy regulations (P3-Clinician-Medical-Records).
