- Health United States (annual) This is the single largest compilation of national health statistics produced annually in the U.S. The National Center for Health Statistics site includes full reports from 1993 through present. Each report contains national data (with state estimates for selected measures) on key trends and statistics including a) fertility and natality; b) mortality; c) morbidity; d) determinants and measures of health (including health behaviors); e) utilization of health resources; f) health care resources; g) health care expenditures; h) health care coverage (including federal programs); and i) state health expenditures.

Healthy People 2010 is the prevention agenda for the Nation developed by the Public Health Service. It is a statement of national health objectives designed to identify the most significant preventable threats to health and to establish national goals to reduce these threats.

- Healthy People 2000
In September 1990, the Department of Health and Human Services released Healthy People 2000: National Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Objectives, a strategy for improving the health of Americans by the end of the century. Healthy People 2000 contains 319 unduplicated main objectives grouped into 22 priority areas.
