- Regional Price Parities. Regional Price Parities (RPPs) measure the differences in the price levels of goods and services across states and metropolitan areas for a given year. RPPs are expressed as a percentage of the overall national price level for each year, which is equal to 100.0.
- Real Personal Income for States and Metropolitan Areas, 2008-2012. BEA has released RPPs by state for 2012.
- Estimates of State and Metropolitan Price Parities for Consumption Goods and Services in the United States, 2005 (BEA: October 2008). Provides estimates of cost-of-living differences across states and MSAs.
- CNNMoney Cost-of-Living Calculator. Allows a comparison of the cost of living in 2 different cities based on inputting one’s current income; the calculator shows the percent different in health care costs between one location and another selected by the user.
